Sakuu featured in BEST magazine
Batteries and Energy Storage Technology (BEST) magazine featured Sakuu in an overview of exhibitors and presentations at the recent Advanced Automotive Battery Conference (AABC) in Las Vegas.
The article, titled "The struggle for quality and cost-effectiveness at AABC," explored the issue achieving profitable battery manufacturing and meeting the competition. It noted that Sakuu "is dry printing anodes and various cathodes from LFP and NMC electrodes," and listed Sakuu’s sustainability potential for manufactures, including:
- 55% reduction of CO2 emissions in electrode manufacturing
- 100% cut in toxic solvents and water compared to traditional wet coating
- 91,122 tonnes of CO2 emissions reduced per 3GWh/year R2R plant replaced.
It also noted that “Sakuu’s high-energy, high-power lithium-metal battery cell chemistry is being augmented with its dry electrode Kavian process.”
